Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The quoting tool needs your gender, birth date, general health status, tobacco use, how much coverage you want, and what term length interests you. Those six pieces are enough for the carriers to return their rates. We only gather your name, address, and health history if you decide to move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The numbers shown are what the carriers quoted for the health tier you chose. After underwriting, the carrier finalizes the premium—they might confirm, upgrade, or adjust your tier. This website makes no promises about price or whether you'll be approved.

What happens when I click Apply?

Enter your name, then the system creates your application based on the exact quote you picked. You continue on the carriers' platform where you can pause or resume anytime and complete everything electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages it all.

Will I need a medical exam?

That depends on the carrier, your requested amount, and your answers. Many carriers handle approvals instantly without a medical exam for applicants who fit their guidelines; each quote tells you if an exam is required, possibly required, or not expected for that product.

Is a longer term better?

Your term should match when you'll need the money: a mortgage that won't be paid off for 15 years, a young family you need to provide for, a business loan. Longer terms mean higher monthly payments but lock in your rate for more years. Compare all your options—10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years—using the quote tool.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quoting tool doesn't collect any personal info; we don't share or sell any visitor data; our measurement system uses no cookies. For complete details on what gets collected and who collects it, see our privacy policy.
